Born 27th January 1895 in Munich-Pasing.
Mother: Rosa Enzensberger, née Wagus,
Father: Ludwig Enzensberger, devorced husband, Mechanical engineer

1896

Baptised  `Antoniette Maximiliane Treu´ 29th January 1896 at the Maria Schutz Church in Munich-Pasing
Adopted by Councillor and crown councel Max Treu  (27.1.1830 – 3.9.1916) in Augsburg.
As member of the Treu family she grew up in Augsburg.

1901

Attendance at Mary-Ward-School in Augsburg since 1901

1912

From 1912 she spent several semester studying at the Royal Arts College in Munich. Her teachers included: F.H. Ehmke (1878-1965) Professor for script and book design, illustration and graphics.
Willi Geiger (1878-1971) Professor for nature studies (nude), painter and etcher. (privat lessons)
Followed by several journeys with her father to Rome and Venice.

1915

Nurse Service in the military hospital during WW1.

1916

Attendance at the painters´ school of Hans Hoffmann in Munich, class for nude painting.

Private lessons with Hugo Ernst Schnegg (1876-1950), with whom she stayed in permanent, mainly written contact until 1941.

1922

Divorce against Rudolf Lammel.
Attendance at the evening class for nude drawing with Karl Rupflin at the municipal school of art, Augsburg.
She marries Karl Rupflin in the same year.
Trips to Lugano and Sicily follow.

Private lessons with Willi Geiger (1878-1971)

Stay in Salo at Lake Garda for several months. Photography studies with Franz Kroher.

1924

Easter trip with Karl Rupflin to Bolzano, Verona, Naples, Sicily and Rome.

1925

Studies began with Mela Muter (1876 – 1967) in Paris, as well as classes with Amedee Ozentfant (1886 – 1966). Easter trip over Paris to Spain.

1926

Trip to Syrakuse with Karl Rupflin.
Visits to Paris for work with Mela Muter.

1927

Several stays in Collioure, Hödingen and Paris with Mela Muter.

1928

Trips to Berlin, Split, Ragusa, Tunis, Spain and Paris.
Stay in Collioure with Mela Muter, Lydi von Lüdwitz and her children.

1929

Trip to Collioure, Arles, Nimes, Sète, as well as visits to Paris with Mela Muter. Trip to Croatia to the island Lusinij with her husband Karl.

1930

Visiting Mela Muter in Paris with following trip to Tunis, where Anta stayed in Sidi Bou Said in a small rental on her own for 4 weeks.

1931

Last visit to Mela Muter in Paris.

1932

Karl Rupflin moves to Essen to work at the Folkwangschule, Anta Rupflin accompanies him temporarily.

1933

Three months in Positano followed by four weeks in Rome, where she was offered to stay in the appartment of the writer Kusenberg.

1936

Frequent stays in Berlin with her Husband, who now works at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Chalottenburg, Berlin.

1937

Permanent residence in Munich from 1937.

1938

Trip to Korcula with Karl.

1939

Trip to Zagreb, Split, Ragusa.

1942 -
1945

Stay in Bayerischzell, Tannerhof, Adlerhütte.

1944

Service in the military hospital.

1946

Admittance to the professional association of fine arts, Munich.

1950

Move to Lahr, where Karl is founder and director of the master school for painting.

1952

Stay in Bayrischzell. Trip to Ascona.

1953

Stay in Freiburg.

1954

Trip to Italy from May until October over Florence and Naples to Ischia, were she encountered Werner Gilles, Werner Heldt, Ida Kerkovius, Heinz Schulze –Varell and Ingeborg Bachmann.

1956

Trip to Italy, Lerici.

1959

Exhibition in the gallery Schöninger in Munich.

1960

Reise nach Ischia, Forio und St. Angelo.

1974

Several stays in Ibiza between 1960 and 1974, finally staying at a friends`s place.

1961

Trip to Venice.

1962

Two months in Ischia, St. Angelo, followed by a stay in Venice, Torcello and Burano in autumn.

Several stays in Rome.

1968

Sohn Wolf kommt bei einem Unfall ums Leben.

1973

Karl Rupflin dies.

1984 -
1987

Rupflin continued to work in her atelier until 1984. She dies 1987 in a retirement home in Augsburg.
